The Möve stands on the island of Lindau, on the historic town wall, on the northern side of the island facing the mainland.
The town centre, the market square and Maximilianstraße, the main shopping street, are only a few minutes’ walk away. So are all the sights, the many restaurants and cafés and, of course, the lake.
Our house also sits diagonally opposite the “Inselhalle” conference and convention centre, barely three minutes away on foot.
Our building is a listed monument which, according to the heritage authority, dates from the 15th or 16th century. In the 1960s it was extended on its southern side.
Our rooms therefore face either north towards Zwanzigerstraße (a 30 km/h zone) in the old part of the house, or south towards the courtyard in the extension.
Our house has 27 rooms, all with a flat-screen TV, safe and free Wi-Fi. Every room has a small bathroom with shower and WC.
All of our rooms are non-smoking.
The rooms are spread over four floors. Because of the building’s unusual position “Auf der Mauer” (on the town wall), you enter the house on the first floor, where you will also find reception.
Please note that our house does not have a lift!
The breakfast room is one floor below. A lounge with access to the “green” terrace is on the reception floor, and there is a roof sun terrace at the very top of the house.
If you would like to have breakfast with us, please tell us when you book so that we can reserve a place for you, subject to availability. Because space in our breakfast room is limited, we ask you to choose one of the times 7:30, 8:30 or 9:30 — then your table is assured and you can enjoy breakfast at your leisure.
